I Live In New York City

The temperature for the past couple of days has been torture!. This happens every summer. We always have some sort of heat wave and I will never get use to it. I am literally sweating in my jumpsuit as I smile for my pictures LOL. I still love living in New York City. I love the beauty, the diversity of people and some of our dirty subways has grown on me. LOL. I was heading to a gospel concert today and I never made it there. I had to turn back and head  home. In New York City they often renovate and do all the maintenance work on the subway system on the weekends. My train was out of service and I was being rerouted on buses to get to my concert. Maybe it was because of the heat, I was not in the mood  to get to the Bronx by bus. Riding on a overly cold subway during a heat wave is the best way to travel around the city. Today I am wearing my stripe jumpsuit and this cute hat. I hardly wear hats but I thought this one was cute. How about you guys what is the temperature in your home town?

Trying To Have A Love Affair With Colors

My decision to wear more colorful outfits is definitely a challenge for me. I still wish I could wear black everyday :) my favorite color. Today I am wearing this fuchsia dress and it's so not my color. However it was the perfect dress for the heat wave we are currently having. My Back Is Against The Wall!

Happy Friday everyone. I got a part time job or rather I am a sales agent. It's commission only, make your own hours. Like most sales jobs, it has the potential to make you a lot of money. These kinds of gigs can also be the most challenging profession one can undertake - if you don't have the right mindset for it. I am willing to give it a go! I want you guys to wish me luck. What's In My Bag

I hope everyone had a fabulous July 4 and a fun fill weekend. I took inventory of what's in my bag today. I must say it's a little ridiculous on some of the stuff I found LOL. I am seriously thinking of weaning myself from carrying big bags. I am tired of digging in this black hole when I am looking for stuff. How about you guys, what is one thing you must carry with you everyday?

A large tub of Vaseline, WHY! I have no idea why it's in my bag.

My make up pouch or I should call it my lipstick holder I counted 11 lipsticks.

My sunglasses this is a necessity for everyone to have in their bag.

Too many keys I counted 25 keys on my key ring. I only use 3 keys everyday.

I was searching for these earrings. Apparently I have been using my bag as a jewelry storage.

and of course my camera this is a must. I refuse to leave home without it. I love taking pictures of everything :)

Guessing Game

I am glad that Google did not do away with Google Friend Connect on July 1. I guess we all had it wrong or Google decided to keep it for us. I took these pictures for the blog today. I hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday. I am not very good at applying make up. I normally throw it on and hope for the best LOL. I got inspired to wear an orange lipstick from a blog post Jezz Dallas post on her blog, check out her post : HERE I am still debating if I like how it looks on me. She did say orange lipstick can be a little tricky. I love this beige V Neck Ruffles dress I was using my orange lips to give it a pop of color. What do you guys think? Hope To Meet A Celebrity

Hello lovely people. There is a movie production crew in my neighborhood. It's my first time seeing a film crew up close. There are five tractor trailers dominating the streets. Huge electrical cords tape all over the side walk with tons of crates in the street. It feels a little intrusive and exciting. I am hoping to see maybe Denzel Washington or Vin Viesel lol. I have been a little shy to ask which movie they are filming, tomorrow when I go by I will asked :) I took these pictures at night on my way home from work.
