I love shopping online these three pieces are on there way into my closet.:)  I plan on wearing something beside black (my favorite color)  for the new year. What do you guys think?

Iron Deficiency Could Be A Reason For Hair Loss

Hello beautiful people. :) I had talked about my issues with hair lost in the past and now I think I know why. I was assigned a new doctor the last time I went to do my annual physical. I told her about my hair lost and stated that I think I have alopecia.  She did alot of blood work on me and the results were that I have a iron deficiency and I am low in vitamin D. She believe that the low iron could be the reason for my hair lost. I am very encouraged from these findings because now I can move forward with a plan. I have been doing my research on the topic of low iron, which for me are Google and Youtube  LOL. I found bloggers and articles on the topic, you can check out some of these bloggers on youtube: Thinning Hair could be signs of iron deficiency  I found an article that list 15 signs to confirm that you really do have a iron deficiency. I had eight symptoms out of the 15. you can check it out: HERE I am a vegetarian  and your diet do play a big role on what happens to your body which for me it's my hair.                                          

I went to my first holiday party for the season and as usual I am wearing my favorite color.

I normally wear my hair in braids, I now wear it out in an Afro.

Oh this was an annual fundraiser I go to yearly.

About My birthday

Hello beautiful people. I know its been a while since  I did a blog post. I had to make an appearances for my birthday. (It was September 7) and of course I was wearing my favorite colors and my favorite style of clothing. The maxi dress. I had this beautiful dress for approximately one year, three months and eight days. LOL. I know this because it was in a bag in my closet with the receipt and tags still on it. I brought this beautiful dress from Burlington Coat Factory. I love it, I can't beleave I had forgotten about it. What do you guys think about my dress ?

I went to my first Broadway show for the year. I went to see "Mama Mia!" It was pack full of music that I was familiar with. I wore one of my favorite maxi dresses. I love the colors and the print of this dress. what do you guys think?

Birthday Celebration Number 4

Happy Monday beautiful people. So, since the year began I attended a birthday celebration for each month. It seems that everyone I know is turning 50 this year :) I had a great time this weekend and I was honored to be invited to share such an important moment for these individuals. I was wearing my favorite colors, black and white. I love this tail coat blazer which I wore over my banned black dress. I will keep you posted if I attend another one for May. :)

Hello Beautiful people. I wore this beautiful African inspired outfit to work, to celebrate Black History Month. I love the colors and the comfort it provided for my long day at work. This outfit make me think of sunshine and warm beaches. I am so tired of the arctic cold weather we are having in New York. How cold is it where you live?

Another Surprised Birthday Party

I guess it is the seasons for big elaborate birthday parties. My friend threw a beautiful surprised birthday party for her husband. He was truly surprised. The invite asked the guests to wear black and gold. I found this cute puff sleeve jacket in the back of my closet. I love when I can just shop my closet for outfits for special occasions. This will be my second surprised birthday party for the year. I love the unexpected surprises on the receivers faces. I am looking forward to attending more events in the up coming months.
