Halloween Funnies

Hi beautiful people. I had a blast yesterday for Halloween. I like Halloween. I think I would like any fun day that will allow me to dress up. Someone asked me yesterday why am I worshiping the devil. Lol. Seriously, do I really look like I am worshiping the devil in my cute flapper dress? That was my reply. Anyway, I do get that some people have hang-ups with Halloween. Maybe there are some eye raising questions with the origins of the day. However, one might ask which holiday doesn't have some eye raising questions. I feel that America was build on top of alot of stuff.  When we start  asking probing questions, it can turn into a never ending process that ends up being quite disturbing. I am sure all the people that dress their kids in costumes and take them out for tricks and treats are not thinking about satanic activities. Let us all focus on the simple saying  "To each his own". I thought these costumes were hilarious and creative. I hope you enjoy some of them too. :)

Think Pink

Hello Beautiful people :) On Sunday I went to a fabulous fashion show in honors for Breast Cancer Awareness. This is a yearly event and it is worth putting on your calendar if you live in New York City. It's called "Tickled Pink" One of the founder and creator: her name is Anika Thomas, you can look her up on Facebook and follow her for update for next year. It was entertaining, chic and heart warming. I especially enjoy seeing all the beautiful ladies who was honored for battling breast cancer.

This is what I wore. I ordered a gorgeous pink dress online and after 12 days I am still waiting for it.

The MC's shoes He was very colorful and had me smiling throughout the show.

         "Sweet With Envy" Be              Inspired. turned 1 today!

WOW! I can't believe it has been a year since I started blogging. It has been a learning and rewarding experience. I have connected with some really awesome bloggers and I am very humble to have people who have followed my blog and encouraged me along the way. I want to give a heart felt Thank You! to everyone. October Is Breast Cancer Awareness

My Mom was diagnosed with Breast cancer. I am happy to announce she is now doing well. I advocate for all types of Breast cancer awareness. I am attending a fashion show awareness for breast cancer, and of course the theme is wear all pink. Pink is not one of my favorite colors. However for the occasion I don't mind wearing it. I have pick out some super cute dresses that I would love to wear. which one is your your favorite?

Repeat Offender

Going through my hundreds of pictures from my vacation in Jamaica.  I blogged about this Peplum top before read it again (HERE) I wore this outfit out to lunch, then right across the restaurant there was a park that lead right to a beach. It was such a beautiful and peaceful day. Happy first day of October to all :)

Be Enterprising

I hope everyone had a great weekend. The highlight of my weekend was spending some time with a dear friend her name is Letitia. I would like to share her soaps with you guys. I so admire her talent for making soap. She is making a little business of it. I am a big advocate for entrepreneurship. J It was fascinating to hear all the detailed and time that goes into creating soap. She tells me it can take up to four to six weeks for the process. I think what makes her soaps unique they are made in small batches the old fashion way. She told me she makes a small batch once per month so I was very lucky to have gotten some. 

I used it right away; my batch was lavender flavored with a minty type smell. It latter up really nicely. I have very dry skin so I was happy that it did not dry out my skin like most off the shelf soaps. The smell was not that over powering.

She did not asked me to feature her on my blog, I really like her soaps so I decided to blog about it. I will now have them in my home from now on. Her being one of my besties J  one might say I could be a little bias, that could be true but they are really great soaps. I would encourage everyone to go to her website and get some, but be aware that she really does make them in small batches and she is a little particular. She like to take her time and tells me she have salons and various shops on back orders. It took me over three months to get my batch because she runs out so quickly.
